How do I list my surf camp or boat?

Go to the Create Listing page, fill in your details, and upload at least 10 high-quality images. We’ll review your submission and contact you once it’s approved.

What kind of listings do you accept?

We welcome surf camps, charter boats, and surf-focused lodges that offer genuine access to consistent waves. The more remote, the better.

What happens after I submit my listing?

Our team checks all listings for quality, accuracy, and platform fit. Once approved, you’ll receive a private link to review your listing before it goes live.

4.

Can I update my listing later?

Yes. You can edit photos, descriptions, prices, and amenities anytime. Reach out via the listing page.

Can I sync my availability with another platform?

At the moment, we recommend managing availability manually- but calendar sync is on our roadmap for phase 2.

How do I manage bookings?

You’ll get notified when surfers request to book. Accept or decline directly through our communication with you. Once accepted, we'll send you the mutual contract, invoice the guest and confirm receipt to you before sending you the full guest details and standardised agreed payout timelines. We will follow up with 3 reminders ahead of guest arrival - 1 month, 1 week and 1 day before arrival.

What’s your commission or fee structure?

We take a small 15% percentage from each successful booking. No upfront costs, no monthly subscriptions.

Do you offer marketing support?

Yes - we feature standout listings across our homepage, content, and if you 'opt in' in social media promotion. Quality listings with strong images get the most exposure.

What if I need help with photos or wording?

We’ve got you. We offer optional support with image selection and copywriting to make sure your listing stands out.

What kind of photos should I upload?

High-quality, natural-light shots that show your waves, accommodation, and vibe. We recommend at least 10 images - landscape format works best. Images are vital to successful bookings. In simple terms surfers buy with their eyes.

How can I improve my listing’s visibility?

Complete every field, and use strong imagery. Great reviews also help your spot rank higher. Speak to us about promotion.

Why list with us instead of just using Instagram or a website?

Because we bring the surfers to you. Our platform is built for visibility, with a map-based discovery experience that makes it easy for serious surfers to find and book your trip. We are well backed with a strong growth model that will certainly bring volume to providers that deliver on their unique offering.

What if I just want to collaborate, not list?

No problem. Reach out to us through the contact page and tell us a bit more - we’re always up for building good things together.

15.

When do I get paid?

Surfers pay a 35% deposit upfront, which is released directly to you to confirm the booking. The remaining 65% is due 60 days before the trip. From this final payment, 15% is retained as our commission and the remaining 50% goes straight to you.

How do cancellations work?

You set your own cancellation policy - flexible, moderate, or strict. Just be clear and consistent so surfers know what to expect.

We provide exposure, secure payments and dedicated support whenever you need help managing your listing or guests.

Why book with you and not just go direct?

We make discovery easier at no extra cost to you booking directly. No more ten tabs and five forums, testimonials - you get surf conditions, nearby waves, and vetted and trusted operators, all in one map. We offer travel insurance that protects your booking in all scenarios giving you complete peace of mind. This is particularly important for new and emerging providers that might be providing feral value.

How do I book a surf trip?

Simply find the wave, camp, or boat that fits your style, select your dates, and follow the prompts to speak to the boat/camp to send a booking request. Once the host confirms, you’ll receive a payment link and booking confirmation.

Can I contact a host before booking?

Yes - you can send a message through the platform to clarify anything with the host before committing.

When will my booking be confirmed?

Most listings confirm within 24–48 hours. After 35% deposit is paid, you’ll get an email notification once your booking is locked in.

How do I know if a camp or boat is legit?

We personally vet all listings before they go live. Most have reviews, and we work closely with many of the hosts.

What if the surf forecast changes after I book?

We can’t control swell - but we can help you choose the best time of year and nearby wave options to give you the best odds.

Are listings beginner-friendly?

Some are! Each listing shows wave difficulty, seasonality, and experience level so you can find the right fit.

How do payments and refunds work?

Payments are processed securely. Refund policies vary by host, but we display all the info clearly on their listing page.

What if the surf camp cancels my booking?

Cancellation policies follow each operator’s original terms. Click through to their page and scroll to the Cancellation Summary for full details.If anything’s unclear, send a message through the enquiry form on the listing page - the operator will get back to you directly.

Can I get a refund if I cancel?

Refunds depend on the host’s cancellation policy, listed on each page. You’ll always see how refunds work before confirming your booking.

Can I book for a group or just solo?

Both. Some listings are private or shared dorms, others are full-boat charters.

Do I need my own gear?

Some camps and boats provide gear or rentals. Check each listing’s inclusions or message the host to confirm.

What’s included in my booking?

Each listing details what’s included - from meals and transfers to guided surf sessions. If anything’s unclear, message the host directly on their page before booking.

How do I contact my host?

Enquiries are sent straight to the operator - use the form on their booking page to contact them.

What if the waves aren’t as expected?

We can’t control the swell, that’s surfing - but we do verify all listings for accuracy, and each region includes real surf data to help you choose wisely.

How does the Surfer’s Guarantee work?

Our opt-in Surfer’s Guarantee protects your booking against cancellations and major travel issues - offering full refund or relocation support.

What if I have a problem during my stay?
